A 5 Step Card and a Cat!

Happy Friday!

We are celebrating today...of course, we celebrate everyday!!!  There's always a reason to celebrate when you have a grateful heart, wouldn't you agree?!

However, this one will be used as a birthday card!  ;)

Stamps: Paper Smooches (pretty phrases)

Paper:  Making Memories, Brazzill

Ink: Memento pad

Other: Nesties, SU! punch, Kaisercraft bling

Here's another CAS card that uses up more of my scrap stash!  Now, these leftover scraps are going in the bin....NOT the scrap box!!!

Another fun 5 step card...

1. cut design paper to size
2. use Nesties or punches for scallops
3. stamp sentiment; cut strip of paper
4. punch small flower
5. attach all papers & bling

I really enjoy this style of card...you could certainly add more to this basic design...but this one makes me smile and gives such satisfaction to my crafting heart!


As some of you might recall, I talked about a sweet little cat who shows up at our doorstep each morning for some lovin' (and food).   I finally thought to take a picture...he is lazily sprawled out on the rocking chair next to the woodstove....on my son's coat...

apparently the click of the camera woke him up! 

He sleeps away the afternoon then 'meows' to go back outside before dinnertime!  The perfect cat!  lol
