Digital Tuesday - Punches

Happy Tuesday!

Well, it certainly is a happier day today than yesterday!  oy!  Everything seemed to go wrong yesterday with my 'puter while trying to print some digis!  As much as I love this image, it was not the intended one for today!  My editing program was being very finicky and my laptop was overheating then froze up....I won't even continue, I can feel my blood starting to boil again!  lol

Stamps: Doodle Pantry digi (bass fish set)

Papers: SU! cs, K&Co dp

Ink: Copics

Other: MS border punch, twine, button

Fortunately I had this image already printed out & colored which alleviated some stress from the whole process of creating!  geeshzzz

Ok, there's a new Digital Tuesday challenge today, our lovely hostess this time is Anneke and she would like to see your punches!!!

Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps, who is offering the winner a $10 Gift Certificate to spend in the store on products from these 3 creators -Stitchy Stamps, Mizumedia Designs and Panda Bear Designs.

To the Lighthouse

Happy Wednesday!

I have a masculine card to show you today!  Though it would certainly work well as a sympathy card too!

Long ago, maybe 2008 or 2009 I won a pile of rubber from Artful Inkables, love their stuff, but somehow it was all pushed to the side and I just recently found it again when I resolved to use my stash this year!

Keeping that in mind, this stamp was a perfect fit for both the Creative Belli challenge which always encourages us to use up our stash  AND our Design DIVA Blog Hop's theme "Oldies but Goodies" using stamps at least 6 months old!  Isn't this a wonderful 'find'?!

Stamps: Artful Inkables

Paper: SU! cs, textured white

Ink: Stazon -midnight blue

Other: cotton duck fabric, twine, button

pinking shears

We hop every month on the third Wednesday!

This week at the Creative Belli challenge we are using felt or fabric on our creations!  This could be a felt flower, trim or maybe a little pieced dress for your image!  No felt? then use whatever fabric you can find...I tore apart a linen dishtowel a while back and am still using pieces from it on my creations!   I am quite lacking in the felt department so I used some cotton duck fabric which, of course, reminded me of the beach!

Pop on over to the Belli blog and oooh & ahhh over all the wonderful DT creations, then play along with us, you might just be the next Belle of the Belli!   Creative Belli Challenge blog!

So, if you are hopping with the DIVAS today and arrived here from the lovely Lisa Lara's blog, you're right on track.  If you need to start from the beginning, hop over to the brilliant Brenda's blog!

Your NEXT STOP is the fabulously talented Mary G!

I hope this post has encouraged you to dig into your stash-y treasures and find something wonderful!  Have fun!
Blessings!

Sad news....

After multiple terms with The Stamping Boutique, I have decided to step down at this point and move on in different directions. It is certainly not for a lack of love. And so I dedicate this card to The Stamping Boutique...

I will certainly miss this team!

Creative Belli Challenge - Dust off those old stamps!

Welcome to Man Week @ Joyful Stamper!!!
I'm focusing on masculine projects this week!

Happy September!!!

Ok, now that August is over, can I start decorating for autumn??? Is it too soon??? Autumn is my favorite time of the year! I have a permanent 'autumn' room in my home but I'm ready to have it overflow into the rest of the house now!!! lol

We have a new Creative Belli challenge for you today! It's a classic...use an old stamp! Yep, dig it out, dust it off and ink it up! too fun!

Stamps: SU! retired set (?)
sentiment -CG
Paper: SU! cs
Ink: SU! black classic ink
Other: Cropadile hole punch, graph paper,
piercing tool for faux stitching.

When I saw what the challenge was for this week, I knew it was finally time to use a CASEd idea I saw last year from the Debbie Olson! I changed the image/sentiment/embellies and the design. She used a background stamp for her card but I didn't have a graph stamp...I did, however, have graph paper & a copier!! I was please with how it turned out!!
