We have a new challenge for you over @ Digital Tuesday, this week our lovely Anne-Marije has chosen the theme "Welcome Little One"!  (awww!)

A while back I won a huge craft kit of papers & embellishments from Little Yellow Bicycle (Snugglebug), this was the perfect time to dig it out!

Isn't this a sweet little Baby Bud peeking out of her buggy?!   This brings back such fun memories of pushing my babes in their strollers.  The day we brought my daughter home from the hospital, we took her for a 'stroll' before we even brought her in the house; introduced her to her new neighborhood before her new home! lol

And then there was the tandem stroller for my two oldest boys...#1 son sitting proudly up front and #2 newborn son sleeping in the back!  That thing was so hard to maneuver through the shops! lol   So glad I'm past that stage of life now with four teens in the house!  whew!

Vintage Welcome & Blog Hop

Happy Thursday everyone...are you ready to blog hop?? This blog hop today is a shout out & big Thank You to Della of the I Brake For Stamps store. Della is a huge behind-the-scenes helper for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design...she makes all the stamps!!! This stamp is the Welcome Baby Collage, isn't it lovely? I wanted to keep the vintage look throughout my design, so I used close to cocoa to stamp the image, the edges are torn ever so slightly and distressed, I've added ivory lace, antique finish brads and faux stitching! The papers are K&co.
This stamp was a joy to work with, it took the ink well and stamped clean! Della has a nice collection of collage type stamps among the wide variety of images she offers.

Offbeat gift

This is my first official Limelight Papercrafts project!

Mandy issued a challenge to create a baby card and either a project or a gift that could be given to a new baby or new momma! I started off with the Basic Grey OffBeat 6x6 pad. I based the entire project around the oh-so-fun-Offbeat-patterns!!! This gift is something that I've been doing for baby showers. I create a set of birthday cards and give them to the momma-to-be. Actually, I have her Baby Shower guests pick a card and write in it for the baby-to-be. I then collect the cards and mail them to the birthday boy/girl for the specified birthday!

I used Fabriano cards for the base of the birthday cards. The clear card box is actually recycled from a friend...and since the Fabriano's are a smidge smaller than the card box, I decided to use some of the Offbeat to make a little hiding place for a pen and postage stamps!

A Pink Bag!

Ok, so my mojo is stuck on simple! But I made it with my own little hands from my warm little heart! I enjoy making these sweet bags...for a easy peasy tutorial check out my first bag creation.

My inspiration, the talented ladies of the Arty Girlz challenge~anything-but-a-card. And there's a new challenge blog worth getting excited about; Charisma Cardz challenge! They gave us a theme of pink! More ultra-cool challenges...Crafty Muse~something new (like a fresh little baby!), One Stop Craft challenge~take a punch!...anxious to see everyone's interpretation of that one!

These bags are nice to have on hand in pink & blue so when you need a quick gift you can just slip a giftcard inside! Or you can make a few and use them for a party favor at the baby shower! Thanks for stoppin' by! May love flow to you and overflow from you as you bless those around you today!

Sweet Little Bundle of Joy!

Sweet little bundle of joy!!! Well, I needed some baby cards. This is for a little girl that will be loved on by loving parents and three older lovely sisters! With all that "girl power" in the house, I just couldn't bring myself to make this card pink!!!

The scalloped sentiment is clear embossed and shiny and the wide sheer ribbon has a shimmer also. If you look closely you can see the white gel pen dots along the pale yellow scallop edge...or not! The sketch is from Meet the Verve Diva MTVD07 and the wide ribbon is for Allison's Suggestive Sunday challenge. Thanks for looking!!
