Happy New Year!

Happy new year to all! I am looking forward to a great year of creating - painting, scrapping, sewing, knitting, and one of my goals for the year is to learn to crochet. Here is a layout I did with the January Sampler Kit from Scrapbookingsuppliesrus - I love color and this year I want to get more adventurous with my use of it - mixing and matching, just playing! The background paper is jillibeans, the flower is Prima, the journaling card is My Mind's Eye, and the hearts were cut from some MME paper.
Hope everyone is safe and warm this day, and looking forward to the new year. We will have a quiet day at home with a yummy honey ham for dinner (lots of soups, etc. in the next few weeks), baked sweet potatoes, marinated black eyed peas, and slaw. Hope you have a great day and I'll be back with more layouts (I have been a scrapping maniac this past week) on Sunday.
