It's my Tuesday Jacksonbelle post...This will be my last DT post and the shop's last day will be tomorrow:(

Sigh, I've had such a wonderful time being part of the Jacksonbelle Design Team...it's sad that the shop is closing...

I've been enabled alot being part of the Jacksonbelle team...I bought my first ZVA's from there...I've picked up some Cosmo Cricket, Prima, Pink Paislee and Jenni Bowlin to name a few...

I decided to showcase some Jenni Bowlin today..

The two different pattened papers are by Jenni Bowlin...the polka dots are 12 x 12 and the text is from a 4x4 set {Oh how I LOVE those!!}...

The stamp is my new Savvy image, Leaning Flower, I picked up at Impress..the ribbon is May Arts that I found in the A Muse bargain bin and the buttons are PTI. Do you see that Ric Rac card? That was a fabbie rak from Ivy...thanks sista.

I was inspired by the new Card Pattern sketch:

Gasp, I almost did a literal interpretation of the sketch:)

I decided to go the CAS route and used the colors as my inspiration:

The Savvy cake is one of my favorites...it screams to be paper pieced. The green polka dot paper is ala October Afternoon...the raspberry polka dot paper is Basic Grey.

Okay, there IS a reason why I shouldn't pop into M's....I end up leaving with a bag full of goodies but last time I justified it by saying that it was also going to be for blog candy:) For those that know me, I love the color green, so that's the overall theme of the candy:)

birthday cupcake

Happy Thursday!!!

Do you know what Thursday means? It is my challenge day over on the 365 Cards blog!! What do we have for you today? Well, we would love to see a Birthday card with no sentiment!!! What could you use? I used a birthday cake...now that's a slam dunk...but you could use candles...balloons...anything that is related to birthday goodness!

I always have fun with this Large Whimsical Outline Cake image by Savvy Stamps. It just screams to be paper pieced. I used the Basic Grey Cupcake line...such super fun patterns. I "had" to add some bling so I used the ultra-sweet heart shape twinkle stickers from A Muse...those puppies are tiny...I use my paper snips to line them up...it is not like I have "man hands" {ala Seinfield} but I seem to get clutzy when I use small embellies...maybe too much coffee? LOL

Show me what you got peeps! I cannot wait to see your most lovely creations!!!

Savvy Birthday

I'm very lucky to be surrounded by a TON of area stamp companies, Savvy Stamps is one of them. The inspiration for this card design was from the Savvy Gallery. The sentiment is ala A Muse {another local stamp company!}. Paper piecing is a great way to use scraps. I'm good at "collecting" scraps..I'm just not so good about using them. Picture this: I have both my paper cutter and paper scorer on my boy's air hockey table. With all this Holiday Gift Show prep, I have a TON of paper scraps basically covering every area that doesn't have a cutter or scorer on it. It makes it easy to use the scraps {there are literally "layers" of scraps..}. This Large Whimsical Outline Cake image is just screaming to be paper pieced...dontcha think?

Sweet Cupcake and Happy ala Jenn

When I was digging around for something yesterday I came across this sweet savvy flower cupcake image. I decided to make a clean & simple card....added some fun ribbon and of course some glitter...viola! The A Muse text is perfect with it, dontcha think?

I tried to upload this FABulous card for Monday's post but it was not cooperating. I didn't have any problems today...go figure. I received this from the magnificent Jenn of Stamps and All that Jazz. You gotta check her out...she is spectacular! You gals kill me with all the layers....I absolutely **love** the look but I'm a lazy stamper :) I don't even try to pretend that I use my scraps...lol...I gave a whole box of them to my friend Laurel {hi!!!}. She's been making some pretty awesome cards out of them...

Cupcake Riley and Savvy-licious...

Look at the sweet Riley card that I received from Jenn over at Stamps and All that Jazz!! She has done a FABulous job coloring and I "need" the 'hey there cupcake' stamp :) Thanks Jenn, you rock!!!

{I'm soooo going to check out photo tents/boxes..if anyone has any feedback I'd love to hear it....I don't know why sometimes the lighting turns yellowish, other times grey...}
This is the last of the Impress loot that I picked up using my gift card...they are all by Savvy Stamps...sue-pah cute!!!

Kind & Savvy

Our weather is finally becoming bearable...I tell you, I'm not a hot weather kind of gal...that is why I live in the Seattle area :)

I have a tshirt that is basically purely pomegranate and black..my friend mentioned that it looked like a card that I would make..my peeps know me! My tee has a great butterfly but I don't have a large butterfly image so I picked this sweet Savvy bloom. I love to use my slit punch to make scallops. Yesterday I picked up the Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch {whatta name!} at T. I will be playing with that over the holiday weekend!
