It's Charlie Horse!

Here's a fun one!

This is one of my very favorite stamps, it's the first one I purchased at Clear Dollar Stamps...Charlie Horse! (CiSBC2) "How's everything on your end?" That cracked me up the first time I saw it and I still think it's pretty funny! I watercolored Charlie hap-hazardly keeping with the distressed look and heavily sponged edges throughout! I added some jute fibers to his tail and tuff! This card was really fun to make! I hope you like it too! The challenges: ABC~distressed, Stamp Something~use a favorite something and A Spoonful of Sugar~torn edges. Thanks for stopping by! Blessings!

Do you know Charlie Horse?

Isn't he cute? Clear Dollar Stamps

I'm just getting ink on this Charlie Horse and there is already another released from Clear Dollar stamps.
This DP is from Big Lots, found it for $3. There must be about 25 sheets and it's double sided with a pale yellow. The yellow is what caught my eye so I was pleasantly surprised when I found this paisley on the other side. I used Prisma markers to color, my kids were at the other end of my table coloring beautiful Audubon posters of birds with these markers. I was very pleased with the way they went on so smoothly. I'll have to remember to use them again!

Hang in there!

Here's a new one from Clear Dollar Stamps; Just Nutty! I think this little guy is too cute!

It seems I'm in a green mood lately, all my cards are shades of green! I guess that better than blue!! I'm enjoying the greeness of summer, safe inside my air conditioned home. But my mind is starting to wonder towards fall, my favorite season. So I pulled out the fall paper and made a card! The leaf DP is from (?) Michael's! The solid cs is w.wasabi (told you I wouldn't be saying farewell to this color anytime soon!) v.vanilla and really rust! The vanilla panel is "smudged" with fall colored pastels. The limb, the top section of the squirrel and the bottom sec. are all cut separately and pieced together on the panel. The SU! markers used were ruby red, mustard, really rust, cocoa and caramel. What fun, piecing together a squirrel. The stamp set comes with so many cute stamps to add to the scene. If you didn't know about Clear Dollar stamps be sure to check them out!
