I came across this photo this morning and while it was taken back when we had a yard sale, I think it is a good example of trying to do something, even if the odds are against you.  They set up this kool-aid stand even though we didn't have a lot of customers at that yard sale, but they did make some money.  Because they were trying:)

So, for 2011 I am going to remember not to judge those who try(or myself), because it is those that try something new that are the brave ones.  And how will we ever learn anything, if we don't try and fail sometimes.  What I won't do is fail to try.
