Labor Day Weekend!

Friday we swam at my mom’s in her 90 degree pool. It was so nice! (The weather was perfect all week, but we had to wait to swim until Carly’s ear infection healed.) My mom’s neighbor showed us her three day old baby chicks. They were so cute. They plan on having a hen house to produce their own eggs to eat. Friday night, Tina and I had massages from Simon which was just HEAVENLY. He gave us the last one for FREE because I did a logo for him. Then we hosted the Family Play group Saturday and Tina grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for everyone. Today, Tina wanted to be adventurous so we did something we’ve never done. We went to the Birch Aquarium. Carly had a BLAST. She loved it so much. She’s been totally into Finding Nemo, so it was fun to show her what real fish looked like. It was awesome.
I’ve had a headache since Friday, but its been manageable. I had to lay down this afternoon for a while because I got nauseous from too much Excedrin. Usually these migraines last three days, so hopefully it will be gone soon.
Tina bought me the Twilight book. I was telling my friends who belong to a book club that I wanted to start reading and they told me to read the Twilight series. So we’ll see. I wasn’t really a fan of the movie, but I’m a fan of what I’ve heard about the author, a stay at home mother of three who had a really interesting dream about a vegetarian vampire which inspired her to write this book. Love it.
Yesterday, I noticed that Carly’s bottom two molars have totally popped through. WHAT A BIG GIRL! No wonder she’s been in so much pain. The sweet thing. Her ear infection and new MOLARS! YIKES! Tomorrow, we’re hoping to go to the beach!
