HIVES!

Yesterday after Carly's afternoon nap she started itching behind her knees. It looked like something had bit her. There was a bunch of raised bumps. One on her ankle too. We noticed a rash on her arm. Then the rash started spreading to her face and other arm and the back of her legs spread to the front. We called our Pediatrician and he told us to give her benadryl and some abuterol. When we woke up this morning we expected the rash to be faded, but it was WORST! She had HIVES ALL OVER her stomach and her armpits and her face! It was awful. We went to Urgent Care just to show someone. The doctor prescribed steroids if she continued to get worst. He told us to get Zyrtec which wouldn't make her as drowsy as the benadryl. So, she looks better, but its still all over her legs. We can't figure out what she was allergic too. Could it have been the honey graham bears? That was something new we introduced this week, but she's had honey pretzels...so not sure. We didn't change anything else. We looked every where for a bug...changed her sheets...couldn't find anything. The doctor said he thought it would be more concentrate to her leg area if it was in fact a bug bite.
