Carly's Crib

We finally put Carly's crib back up, even though we still aren't sure whether or not we are going to be able to stay in our home. She's almost three months old and we should really have her on a better schedule and its really much more efficient if we have the nursery set up properly. My best friend gave us some good pointers and bought us this book called the Secrets of th.e Baby Whisperer which helped her a lot with her daughter. Tina got motivated and went to the store. Now we are all set! We have monitors and those cool rubber play tiles for the floor, which will be perfect to put over the hard tile so she can have more tummy time and also play in her Baby Einstein Gym.. She also bought Carly Large swaddles which have been the BEST thing ever for Carly once we figured out how to use them. :) She wakes herself up if her left arm isn't tucked by her side.
Oh the sounds she's making in the monitor! Tina just went to check and see if that's active sleeping or if she's awake. Oh, she must be awake, because Tina just pushed her little song player. I hope we get the hang of this soon. I'm TIRED.
We had a fun day today. We went down to the beach again. This time just walked around and took pictures. I was pleased to see Gay activists trying to get pledges of support to fight prop 8 next year. They were asking for a donation of $44 a month. Wendy and Indi took Carly and I to this delicious Mexican restaurant for dinner. I had a chicken quesadilla! It was SO GOOD!
