You just put it on like regular lotion and viola ! SUMMER skin !
I looked at my wife tonight. She had her jammies on. Hers consists of basketball shorts and a t-shirt with cut off sleeves. nice right ? rrrrraaaaadddrrrr !
She was looking all tan and sun glowy. I accusingly said, "you've been using the tanning lotion haven't you ?"
TOTALLY unafraid of me she said, "yes"
She walked towards me and I whined, "why do you look tan...I've been using it and look." that's when I put my arm up to hers and there was a very noticeable difference in the color of our skin tones.
"I don't know." she replied...not feeling AT ALL bad for me.
I said..."how often do you use it ?"
She responded, "every time I shower."
I'm all "ME too !" still baffled and now a little pissed.
It only took us both 3 seconds...(normally it would only take us 2 seconds but there is a slight delay with all of the sleepless nights we've had lately) to realize that J has been using it every day. I however have used it twice.
hmm.
We have had more life threatening moments in our house since Nathan's leg was broken. And I say, was taking my responsibility in the whole thing out of the equation. (stomping my feet....it wasn't my fault, it wasn't)
SO many, juuuuust misses, and aaaalmost breaks, and sooooo close to cutting the skin opens, and "look at me damn it...how many fingers do you see...LOOK AT MAMA !"
I have warned my children a number of times this week....that if they break something, crack something, cut something open....we will be applying Robitussin to it and alternating Tylenol and Motrin every 4hrs. I flat out told Syd that they would take her away from me if she were to break something and I took her to the ER. I would get the room with the TV and all the ice water I needed...but surely they would send in child services faster than I could say...."I swear she jumps off the roof all of the time and has NEVER broken anything !"
Here's a little something we put Robitussin on tonight.
Not so much a face plant....as a face slide.
