Living life day by day. Every day is a gift - playing-home.blogspot.com -

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rachel and her family.

She works for J and was pregnant with identical twin girls.
They were born the 3rd via c-section at 34 weeks and weighed 5lbs 11oz and 6lbs 3oz.
Carly and Katlyn were beautiful with round full faces.

5 days later both girls were moved to the Children's hospital with what would be diagnosed as renal failure.
Katlyn lost her battle on the 18th and little Carly joined her today.

Their mom almost lost her own life during this whole ordeal with a serious infection and was released from ICU the same day she lost Katlyn.
She's already suffered loss, years ago she lost a baby when she was 6 months pregnant. And if all of this was not bad enough, she had her tubes tied after the birth of what she thought were big healthy baby girls.
She has a beautiful and healthy 2 1/2 year old at home to live for but I cannot try and imagine the loss that she has had to endure.
I look at my healthy babies and feel so blessed to have them.
