I had the opportunity to play with Princess Rose along with a fun sentiment.

Queen of the Castle...gotta love that...every woman should be the Queen of her Castle:) I paper pieced Rose with Basic Grey Infuse...Her hair has been paper pieced with Stampin' Up Close to Cocoa. I didn't want to cover up her entire skirt with the sentiment so I printed it on vellum and made a wide sash....did you notice the sheer part of her sleeve has been pieced with vellum too? Her crown has been inked up with a Sakura Stardust pen and then finished off with some Kaiser Crafts pearls...as is her belt. I did some stitching and then topped it off with A Muse Creative Candy...Gotta love Rose's smirk and her blue eyeshadow:)

Can you tell that this is actually a 4.25 x 4.25 inch card? I love working with that size...

There are a couple pen sets up for grabs!!!

Each of the gals on the Get Sketchy DT was given a couple Sakura pens to play with. I decided to use mine to ink up some nakie chippie letters! They are nestled on a Jenni Bowlin Die Cut...I added an American Crafts flair with MM glittery chocolate number/alpha. The patterned paper is Bella Blvd that I stitched with chocolate thread.

Okay, I'll be honest, I don't do any handwritten greetings on the exterior of my cards...that's what all the fun embellies are for..LOL. I'm not a huge fan of my handwriting:)

Cheater Cupcake

I typically do not buy cards...I just can't justify the purchase with my vast inventory of paper products, stamps and embellishments. I could not pass up these blank Target note cards. They were in the $1 bin, 8 cards for $1! They are not high quality paper but hey, 8 for $1?! I call this card my Cheater Cupcake because of the store bought card...I actually made 2 designs. They are in anticipation of my DD's March birthday. She likes my "other" design that I will post tomorrow. She picked out both the stamps that were used on the card when we were at the Rubber Soul over the weekend. TFL!

A Magical Lizzie Card...

I was asked to design invites for a "Princess Party". This is a treat for me since Princess Parties are long gone in my household. The A Muse Lizzie image was one that I recently adopted via the buy/sell/trade board on Splitcoaststampers. I used the aquapainter on her dress so that it matches the Wasabi cardstock. I glitzed her dress up with my Quickie Glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds. Her crown, wand and shoes were colored in with Sakura glitter pens....what is a princess without glitter?! The "a MAGICAL day" oval has been edged with a Sakura stardust pen.
