Welcome to 365 Cards Super Sketchy Sunday!!!

I tell you, I was staring at Pam's sketch for awhile and then I started rotating it until...aha! Yes, I decided to do it upside down..LOL.

Originally I was going to use some Sassafras scalloped edges for the borders on the sketch. I started to look through my Whale of a tale pad and decided to fussy cut the wave pattern instead. The buttons and hat pins in the corner are from a Peachy Cheap buy ala Fancy Pants {hmmm...could be from Flowers to Flourishes}. The Birthday Bash rub on is Basic Grey.

I made this specifically for my friend's daughters upcoming 16th birthday. I can't believe how time flies...I remember when she was born...I've known my friend for 31 years...oy vey, now that makes me feel old.

Welcome back to my blog for the 365 Cards Sketchy Sunday!!! This is just screaming to be an Easter card...madras plaid...gotta love it. You can't really tell but the plaid panel is actually on dimensionals for a little "oomph". This would be my bargain basement card...lol...the MME papers are a Peachy Cheap buy, the buttons are SEI 40% off after Christmas sale and the gingham ribbon is from Michaels Halloween 50% off...Please visit the 365 Cards blog to see the other DT's cards...they really are quite spectacular!!

Cupcake-licious!

Sorry...no big sweet cupcake on this card {although I'm going to get the Sizzlit Cupcake dies...}, it is a SCS SC214 card using 4 different patterns from Basic Grey's Cupcake line. I love their 6x6 paper pads... The striped ribbon is ala Stampin' up and the buttons are from the Making Memories {note}worthy embellishment jar. I toyed with the idea of stamping a sentiment but decided against it...this truly is an all-occasion card. I really do dig the red/blue color combo...so bright, fun & happy. The card base is Stampin' up Riding Hood Red...love the stuff...such a gorgeous color.

I'm still having fun with my SEI papers...I've always loved their Hippie Chick line...so fun & funky! This is for the SCS Sketch Challenge 212. It's a great design to highlight different designer papers...this card actually has 2 different pattern papers...one is with circles and the other has flowers, paisleys and other fun shapes. The felt flower and buttons are from Making Memories embellies that I bought over on Peachy Cheap in December...oy vey, that place is dangerous! I have to say that I really love my Stampin' Up Cute Converse set...the sentiments always seem to come in handy.
