Woot woot for the weekends!!!

Here is a sketch from the recent Paper Crafts call...

I had sooo much fun with this one...who wouldn't with new goodies to play with?!!! I'm soooo lovin' the MME Quite Contrary line...

I don't know if you can tell, but I blinged up the Owlie's belly...and there is bling that follows the word bubble:)

This wasn't picked up by Paper Crafts but hey, that's okay...I had fun making it and that's what is important!

Next up is Kazan's sketch 48:

I actually had a different idea swirling around in my mind for this particular sketch but although I didn't go that route, I'm still happy with the end result:



There is a TON of stitching on this puppy and come on...you simply CANNOT go wrong with Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird line with a smidge of October Afternoon...topped off with PTI and Practicing Creativity! You'll be seeing that banner ALOT...love it Courtney!

Happy Saturday!!!

Today is a fun filled day..I hope to be crafty in the morning and then the rest of the day is filled with errands..

I've decided...no more christmas cards....

So, what am I going to create?

I wanted to play with Laura's fabulous sketch:

Just a 'slight' problem...I still can't get enough of my flocked Making Memories papers....so I decided to design a "Happy New Years" card. This works perfectly with Paige's challenge too!

Oh boy, this card is near perfection....flocked goodness and an owlie? woot woot!

I broke out a new A Muse stamp that I just received this week...

I've had some super fabbie cards roll in from my fellow bloggers...thanks soooo much ladies...I'm going to pop yours in the mail on Monday:) I've also been the thankful recipient to a couple CRAKs...I'll share everything with you all next week...I'm toying with the idea of not making anything on my non-DT days and taking the time to relax and organize:)

I can't believe how quickly the week is flying by and the fact that we're already into the month of September! I always think of Labor Day...woooo hooooo...long weekend!

Today is my day over at 365 Cards.

I don't know if you can tell but the Arturo card is celedon. That's why I uploaded a pic of colors....the Fabriano's and Arturo's are buggers to photog.

I'm really not a purple girl but:

1. Isn't that Making Memory label perfect for the challenge? I found a set in my stash!

2. I was inspired by these photos.

You're not surprised that my card has an owlie on it, are you?!!! Well, I wanted to do a huge shout out to Piali!! She was a huge sweetie pie for sending me this adorable stamp set by Sandylion. Piali also sent me the most fabbie card too...I'll share that next week :)

I decided to paper piece the owl's belly with some Stampin' Up Ginger Blossom dp. You probably can't tell by the photos but I did use my glittery black Marvy Twinklette pen on her eyeliner..a gal has to have glittery eyeliner :)

All the patterned paper is Jillibean...the white rub on is Basic Grey. I had such fun with this sketch!

I hope that you'll join us in Get Sketchy's first challenge!! You gotta check out the other DT member's take on the challenge....I love this group of gals. Everyone's take is sooo different AND gorgeous!!!
