friends...

Happy Sunday!

Hope you all are having a great weekend...can't believe that it is Sunday already.

I have a fun little card to share with you...it is with a bunch of MME:

Seriously gotta love anything MME...

I was inspired by the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger:

Porch Play

Can you say...fun and perfect?  I adore Cath's Trigger picks...

I was inspired by:

the colors...the flowers...the edge of the table with the fun scallops...

At first glance you might not notice the 2 different sizes of zig zag'alicious stitching on this puppy...the center red panel has the tiny zigs all around the border and the red vertical strip on top of the yellow scallop piece has big zags:)

The Limelight Papercrafts sketch was perfect to play with:

I hope to have a surprise for you this morning....I'll be back:)

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!!!

(officially starts at 10 am EST)

You should have hopped here from our January Guest Designer, the fabbie Lauren:

Lauren's Creative

If not, the fun all starts at the E.A.D Designs blog!

I tend to gravitate to the Stickerz projects so today I'm featuring a card with an EAD Designs Rub-on....I tell you, the rub on's go on like butter...they are sleek and fab...

swoon...gotta love that dress form from the Vintage Rub-Ons set.  It is in brown...LOVE it....

This is a CAS card...used some vintage Pink Paislee papers {aren't the hearts sweet?!}, some DeNami Design buttons, Kaisercraft pearls and a vintage prima bloom...BAM...it's done...okay there is some sewing...all my cards tend to have sewing on them but that's easy smeasy too:)

Don't forget about the SWEET E.A.D Designs Turtle Love Color Challenge that is currently running...it ends on the thursday so check it out HERE!!!

Okie dokie...thanks so much for stopping by....now hop on over to Stephanie's blog:

Birthdays are like...

Hello and welcome to the Skipping Stones Design Sketch Challenge!

We are so fortunate to have the fabbie Amy Sheffer as our Guest Sketch Artist for the month of January:

The Skipping Stones Design Team is highlighting the very fun release of Birthday Purses:

Now how fun is that?!!! Seriously...I may have a 'thing' for purses...bags...wallets....I blame in on the fact that I have a size 3.0 {kids} size foot so I can't stock up on shoes..HA..

Okay, okay...here's my take on the sketch:

I used the wonderful Wanted line by Cosmo Cricket....I knew that I 'wanted' to paper piece that particular purse in a camel color...the bow is actually a pretty shade of blue that matches the Making Memories bloom that I distresses with Memento Rich Cocoa...topped off with a PTI button and Kaisercraft pearl....

Sheesh, can you believe it...I even prettied up the interior:

LOL...I just love Skipping Stones Design humor...cracks me up e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e!  I stitched and popped on some vintage Prima blooms and some more pearls...gotta love pearls....

You won't wanna miss the fabbie goodness from the other gals on the Skipping Stones Design Team:

The frosting on the cupcake is actually the 'backside' of the hambly cupcake paper:)  I topped that sweet cupcake with a SEI button and some Kaiser bling!   Everything is nestled onto a Hambly overlay..The SU Basic Gray seems to make the pinks pop:)

I am sooo inspired by Mona's color challenges!

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Any fun Halloween weekend plans?  We have soccer games today AND tomorrow...I'm just hoping for dry weather:)

I have a tag to share this morning...sorry for the photog....this little whipper snapper just would NOT cooperate!

It seems that yesterday AND today it has been Wplus9 day on my blog:)

Today's tag uses Woodgrain Silhouettes....I LOVE the flowers in that set...I used Memento Angel Pink on it...such a soft & soothing color...

I was inspired by the Wplus9 Color Cue challenge...

You probably can't tell but my thread that I used is a pale gray...did you see the whimsical zig zagging:)

The quote is my screensaver at work...isn't it true though?  The joys and difficulties in life prepare you for other events in your life...makes you stronger and more thankful for what you have...that's how I feel now...I'm so grateful for my life...for the people that are part of it...

My 3 Year Blogaversary is coming up...it is actually in 1 week...so stayed tuned for a Candy Extravaganza!!!!  Woot Woot!!!!

grow where you are planted...

Happy Friday!!!

Whew, sooooo glad that it is almost the weekend...looking forward to celebrating WCM Day tomorrow:)

I've been seeing a ton of tags out in bloggie land lately and decided to make one or two...

This is chock full of Cosmo Cricket Material Girl goodness...everything is nestled onto a RAK'd tag {Thanks Ivy!!!}...I popped a black bling on the flower chippie to coordinate with the tiny type letters..

So fun to see my it over on the Cards blog...thanks Paige!

Next up is another tag..getting great use of all the tags Ivy gave me:)

I used the bird image in the Schlosser Designs Have a Tweet Day set:

I'm really enjoying the tag thing....ideal for scraps:)

The doily and button are compliments of Yvonne...I tried to dye the doily with some coffee but patience is not my middle name and I didn't soak it long it enough..sigh...All the patterned paper is October Afternoon...the black bling is Kaiser and the alpha is Cosmo Cricket tiny type.

I think that I'll be slinging out more tags...they are a nice, quick size to work with....

I made this card especially for my friend/co-worker that had a bunch of us over to her house last saturday for a luncheon...oh-so-much fun...it was suppose to be a crafty day too {scrabble tile necklaces} but, well, we chatted the time away...oh yeah...and ate...that woman can whip up thee most fantastic menu....here's something that I've been doing for my friends...I send them cards but instead of writing inside I jot my note on sticky note so that it is an eco-card....they can re-gift it to someone else...

There will be some fab announcements of upcoming Skipping Stones Design's events...so pop on back to the Skipping Stones Design blog tomorrow:)
