Here's my take on 'both' challenges...

Okay, you all deserve a little background on this crazy card...it actually started off differently...I used the Martha Stewart cupcake punch instead of the chippie....I didn't like the cupcakes because they weren't the right size...so what do I do? I do a little of this and a little of that...found the chippie that goes with the paper and there you go....it wasn't until later that I realized that I removed part of the JBelle challenge...grrrr....I took off the 2 punched items...sooooo....let's use our 'imagination' and pretend that I punched those chippies...LOL...sorry about that ladies...{shaking my head}...

Thank Goodness it is Friday...whew!

I'm soooo ready to start my jam packed weekend...I get to spend some quality time with my gf's tomorrow...we're spending the day together celebrating a birthday!

Well, Friday means we need to Get Sketchy!!!!

I played with the Lets fly a kit image:

I teamed it up with delish Carolyn Gavin papers and chippie...easy breezy...so perfect for the kite image {patting myself on the back although it reminds me of CoverGirl make up}. I did a smidge of paper piecing and a smidge of Copics on the image...I don't do the fancy smancy shading...I gotta take another Copic class or perhaps check out youtube? You ladies with the fabbie copic skills...throw me some pointers...I tend to be a paper piecer so any tips will be most helpful:)

I have 2 cards to share with you today...

Okay, so this is a monstrosity of a card...haha....I used Sassafras Monstrosity, There she goes and The Cutting Cafe on this wild & crazy card!! I added stitching on each of the panels and do you see the smidge of glitter? It is actually underneath the blue 'meet me for coffee' circle. That {bo-bunny} panel is actually on pop dots...added some PTI vintage buttons and called it good:)

Next up is a non-sketch challenge card...say it isn't so!!!! This is me, all me and nothing but me:) Okay, so the blue paper is from Kay {thanks girlie..it is from the Carolyn Gavin pad}...the felt and chippie are American Crafts...the chocolate glitter letters are Making Memories and of course the owlie and sentiment are My Cute Stamps.

P.S. My co-worker M is on a roll...she found me 2 more vintage frogs...woot woot...thanks M!!!
