I was so excited to see SCACD's 1st challenge go live yesterday!  I have so many of their wonderful stamps and now I have a good excuse to ink them up!!!

On the homefront, we've been spring cleaning, anyone who really knows me, knows I'm in a perpetual state of 'spring' cleaning.   I believe I would be truly happy in an empty house (except for my lovely family & crafting supplies, of course!)

As I was cleaning behind my dresser, I found some vinyl wall art I had forgotten about!  too fun!  So up it went!

I think I was originally saving it until we re-painted the walls, but I've thrown perfection out the door and decided to just enjoy the art now!

That's it for me today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a new company release, an Easter blog hop and a brand new color challenge!

Isn't she a beauty?  She's one of the newer stamps from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design (SCACD) They introduced a new artist a short time ago, Carmen Medlin, the stamps are all so lovely!  So I had a bit of fun getting inky again!

I searched my stash for Christmas bellies but found nothing!  Since the Belli challenge is all about using what you have, I decided to just go with a Christmasy tag and add the little charm from a flea market charm bracelet I had found this past summer.

Celebrate 2010

Having a little fun with a shaped card! Well, all my stash is almost packed away for this next week, I'll be busy outside of blogland! I have my DT cards done and scheduled so I was moving on to the next holiday...


This is a Victoria Case for SCACD image, Everyday Gal-Miss Chardonnay! Thought she was perfect for this wine shaped card! I colored her with Copics and gave her a gold party dress & heels, finished off the wine bottle w/sparkly gold embossed flouishes! A really quick card but perfect for the occasion!

Autumn is Hereeeee

Well, this Autumn is here...she's one of the adorable new Victoria Case for SCACD just released last week! You can purchase her and the rest of this exclusive line at Susana's Custom Art & Card Design store!


I colored her with copics and prismas...I tried to 'color in' some textures for her outfit...though I believe I failed miserably! lol Suede boots, corduroy skirt, just imagine....:) I'm happy with the sparkly parts, the colored leaves and boot pom-poms...then there's that molasses Smooch in her hair! I love that stuff!!!

The school days circle sentiment as well as the pencilbox with pencil image are all from The Cutting Cafe. too fun!

Try It Out Tuesday #12

Fun challenge...check it out over at Follow Your Heart, the store blog for Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.

The challenge is to create a gift set. Since I'll be designing for Anki's Sweethearts, I thought I would design my set for a child. So many of us pack up the little ones for a day trip to the relatives over the Easter holiday weekend. So here's some things to keep them busy for the roadtrip!

A post-it note holder with an attached mechanical pencil, a good read, a little trail mix and a card with a word find game or two!

I used Stamp Something's sketch for my card and this tutty fruity polka dot paper is a free download from Libby Weifenbach Designs! The stamped image is Young Julia with Purse from Anki's Sweetheart line exclusively made for Susana's store!

I also wanted to give you a DROOL ALERT...
