Happy, happy weekend!

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood, the temps are rising and the friendly stray cat has shown up once again at my door.   My mother gave us some cat food, so we now have a little bowl for him.  He certainly is a sweetheart and I find it hard to believe he's never been an indoor cat.   The children take turns loving on him, then he falls asleep on the rocking chair beside the woodstove.  He's quite content there too!  By late afternoon he meows to go out and off he goes!     I think we now have a cat!

Is this not a TRUE statement???  It rang very true in our home when the kids were younger.  The only way I found to stay sitting was to have a wonderful book to share with them!  So we read quite often!  lol
