For Those That DO NOT get it....

For all of those out there who do not get what i do....

I scraplifted the idea of the decorative paper opening up from the January Issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.  I don't have the mag right now, cuz i left it at my mom's house, but i loved the layout that did this.  There are always people who question creative minds.  Wonder why we spend so much time and energy on our creative pursuits. I'm sure all of us have our on answers to this.  But for me, it is about living my life and telling my story.  It's what makes me happy and keeps my mind alive.  It keeps my heart full.  It gives me an artistic way to record memories...to preserve memories.  Being creative...whether it be in scrapbooking, in the photos i'm taking, or just creating anything is what makes me happy.  It is who I am. Why hide my passions just because everyone doesn't understand them.  I don't understand how people can go through life with no passion for anything...not even their own lives.  Nothing to get excited about or interested in....i would hate to live a life like that.  I will always do what makes me happy....and my art does. 

I also want to thank all of you out there who share this passion of creating.  Thank you for opening your heart and putting it out there for others to see, because whether you realize it on a daily basis or not, it is brave to show others' your heart.  It is brave to put yourself out there knowing there will be plenty who don't understand it, who don't get it.  But there will be some that will appreciate it beyond belief.  You will touch those lives.  And I always say if I can touch just one life with anything I say or make, then I am happy.  And not only that, you are being true to who you are and doing what you are passionate about.
