Carly's back molars are coming in and her dentist said that they are probably bothering her. Either that, or she's just incredibly hungry at midnight. I gave her her bottle of water and she seemed okay for about five minutes...then she cried for ten minutes and stopped for five. Then for another ten minutes. I gave her IBProfin which I figured would work, but she was still crying at 1:30am! So, I got up and made her a snack. I avoided milk, but eating during the night is the habit we were trying to stop. The good news is, she let me brush her teeth! :) Then she slept from 2am to 7am.
I think the novelty has worn off with the potty. We did the timer thing this morning for three hours and after I'd sit her on the potty she would get off it and run and pee on the floor. Then we thought, oh maybe she's more comfortable doing it in the bathroom instead of the room she was playing in...and that wasn't it. We gave her a full bottle on the potty....we tried gummy bears... By 10:30am we were wiped out and I don't think Carly was having very much fun with us asking her if she wanted to go pee pee all the time.
Babycenter says that if you try potty training and your baby has accidents 75% of the time than maybe its too early and to try again another time. We'll see if Carly initiates going pee pee again. Here's a shot I got with my phone. It came out blurry and Carly wouldn't pose on the potty when I got my good camera.
