Carly's teeth look good, but the dentist told us that Carly's very high risk for cavities because she takes Singular and Zyrtec everyday which dries up her mouth. Syliva helps teeth fight cavities. Anyway, she told us to stop allowing Carly to drink milk during the night unless brush her teeth afterwards. She also told us that we have to really brush her teeth well. She said Carly will much prefer having her teeth brushed that having to be sedated to get cavities filled. So, we've been brushing her teeth longer and more thourghly and Carly's actually been very cooperative surprisingly! Last last night we cut the milk during the night. It took her a little longer to go to sleep initially, but she didn't seem to mind the bottle at 4am filled with cold water. Tonight she just cried her usual ten minutes and then fell asleep. She's such a good girl.
As far as the potty. Last night Carly didn't have to pee but she made a good effort and tonight she missed the potty but did a good job getting all her pee out. :) We have a lot of plans this weekend. Tomorrow we have a few hours when we'll be home, but I read you can untrain potty training if you go back and forth from diapers. So, I'm not sure if we should start the no pants thing until we have more than a few hours to try it. I'm curious of what she'll do though...so I'm torn.
I'm SO excited! We finished the Warhol for my mom! I posted the final version on canvas. Now we need a volunteer from woodshop to make the frame! I'm in the process of doing one for my step dad with his clarinet. I just posted the digital example of what I hope it looks like. I made the screen. I plan to overlap the image three times with black, gray and white paint. I'm so excited. I wish I had more time to work on these. I need a few hours after school a couple times a week, but I don't think that's going to happen unless Tina's home for some reason. I have a whole list of things I want to make. We want to do one for our principal and the three assistant principals together in one. I think it would looks SO cool!
Saturday is a GSA event that Tina, Carly and I will be attending. I made a logo for the gsa club and they LOVE it so much. I'm posting the first one I made, but I made another one that was even better on a star. They want me to design their t-shirts with all the kids in the club in the style of the logo. Wednesday we take pictures for the yearbook and I'm going to be in the picture! :) I know....its bold, but I'm going for it! :)
