What a fun day! My dear friend had an extra pass and invited us to go with her to the Botanical Gardens. Carly loved it! It felt good to get outside and be surrounded by all that beautiful nature.
Before we went to the Gardens Tina asked Carly if she felt like going pee pee and Carly said pee pee and went to the potty. I took off her diaper and sat with her and she didn't seem like she was going to do it. Tina told me that she thought Carly wanted her privacy, so I closed the door and she stayed on the potty and the music went off! I couldn't believe it!!! All this time, she might have gone if I let her be by herself!
We tried again at bath, but she didn't have to go. I bought six different potty books today and we've read them all at least two times already.
We decided to skip trick or treating this year and just focus on handing out the candy. Carly's only 1.5. She's still way young, but when the kids ran by our house in their costumes she wanted to run off with them to badly. I was worried they were going to trample her. Carly is such a delight.
