Oregon!

We took a family trip up to see my best friend and fam in Oregon. Tina had never been! It was so awesome to go together. Carly had a blast. My best friend discovered that PRIDE was that weekend and took us to the parade in Portland. It was fun. Carly LOVED the music and the costumes!

This lady we flew with suggested giving Carly a sucker so she could pop her ears. It was great, because Carly wasn't interested in drinking or chewing which would have also worked to pop her ears. She never had a sucker before. I was sure she was going to gag herself with it, but she just enjoyed it. She pretty much slept through both flights. Coming home she woke up about twenty minutes before we landed, which was cool because she got to experience it and see the houses get bigger. She got to have her own seat on the way back too because Tina had to go to SF for a big meeting. She slept in my arms most of the flight, but it was great when I had to change her and when she wanted to stand up and stretch her feet.

Anyway, that was an incredible trip...and a wonderful way to start off the summer.
PS Carly has officially mastered walking...just about anyway! She is walking all over the place. SHE IS A CUTTTTTTIE PIE.
