Are you ready for some pictures......?

This weekend was jam packed. I was able to accomplish so much. Had a lot of fun and just enjoyed spending time in my creative ZONE!!!!! Here are some pictures.

I love these vintage can labels. Jenni Bowlin has put them in her kits, I have found some online and at flea markets. I have been wanting to make a mini book out of it. The Mackerel label would be so cute used for Fathers Day. I also used a cute old brass fish charm.

This dress stamp I have seen around a lot lately. I found it at Michaels 1/2 off. Great deal.
This will be a small project at the event.

Mmmmm. Petit Fours. I had to make 150 of them for a bridal shower this weekend.

I made all the scalloped cards with the bride and grooms initials.

I received some awesome HAPPY mail from Jenneke. It was a belated birthday gift. She sent me some unique items from the Netherlands. I love it. She knows me well. I love the birds and have been working on a project that they will go nicely on. You are supposed to hang it up but I love the birds and they will be better used on a project. The blue scarf is so beautiful....I will be using it as table decoration for the event. I love the journal...it has a picture of a lighthouse on it....which I collect. Then for fun she sent me a license plate with my name on it. How cute is that. Jenneke, I love everything......You are so thoughtful. I am so happy to know you. You are an amazing friend.

LOOK. Jenneke was published in a Dutch magazine and she sent me a copy. She is so beautiful and her scrappy work is just so awesome. I love to see her getting the recognition she deserves.

Okay... I have to admit when I saw this layout she made for me, I cried.....Call it emotional. That is fine. But I just love this layout. It is so special to me....She did the layout with a family picture. Jenneke, You are so thoughtful. I love the layout. So, so, so much. I just LOVE it. Wanna see more of her beautiful work... LOOK HERE!

Look at how she packaged everything. I have saved all of the items she has sent me since we met over a year ago. It is time to start using it. I just want to save it. There are some pretty cool papers she wraps the presents with.

Look at the stack of stuff for my event. I have piles all over the house and you can't see my bedroom floor. A have stuff spread all over the place in there. It is the only place I know the kids will not get into it.

Here are my cool vintage finds from the flea market. I purchased these 2 old ironing boards. $15 each. They are wood and they will be perfect for the embellishment bar. I also found all those vintage patterns for $1. A GOOD DEAL? I found 4 old childrens books for $4. I also purchased 4 cards of old buttons for $4. I bought 2 yards of old feed sack material for $20. Is that a good price? I wanted some bad so I really did not care how much it was!!!! An old book about indians but the titles printed on the top of each page could be great titles for a layout. It was $3. My best find of the day is an old cash book. Complete and full of ledger paper. It is from a plantation in Baton Rouge in the year 1878. Every page is written in and there is a letter in the front that tells a little story.... It says that in 1860 this plantation sold 400 barrels of syrup but that they were hit hard by the civil war and the year of the cash book they only sold 125 barrels. I love it and only paid $7. I plan on using it for scrapbooking but find myself attached to the history of it and I sort of want to keep it all together. What do you think should I share it or keep it?

Last photo of the weekend. The puppies are so spoiled. When we go outside they want so much attention. This is good cause they are little snuggle bugs. But the do not pose for the camera. They want you to hold them...Sooooooo, I had to just hold my camera low and run around the yard snapping pictures in the hopes one would come out.....This is the only one that did.... I LOVE IT!!!!! This is Lucy and Leo is in the background. Too Cute.

Hope your weekend so wonderful....Love you all. Hugs, Amy
