season's greetings...

Today is Thursday and we're going to have a 365 Cards art lesson.

Use the geometric paintings of Piet Mondrian as inspiration.

Pieter Cornelis "Piet" Mondriaan, after 1912 Mondrian, was a Dutch painter.

He was an important contributor to the
De Stijl art movement and group, which was founded by Theo van Doesburg. He evolved a non-representational form which he termed Neo-Plasticism. This consisted of white ground, upon which was painted a grid of vertical and horizontal black lines and the three primary colours.
(information compliments of Wikipedia)

I picked this particular painting as my inspiration:

I've got one word for you:

Rebel

It was totally non-intentional though...I didn't {a-hem} read about Mondrian until after I created my card...tsk tsk Amy....I used his painting as the inspiration to my creation...you might notice that there isn't any white space or primary colors...LOL.

Personally, I blame Basic Grey and Eskimo Kisses for not having the primary colors and white space...nah, I adore Eskimo Kisses' color palette and wouldn't want them to change anything about it.

Hope you'll join me in today's 365 Cards Challenge!!!

Signed,

The Rebel
