So now - onto my Project 365 photos for last week. It was a quiet homey week...
Monday, October 26: I found a new home for my Studio Calico project bags. Up in my bookcase where they are safe from little cat teeth...
Tuesday, October 27: and since I freed up my orange bucket (where the project bags used to be), I was able to fill it with my acrylic stamps - perfect!
Wednesday, October 28: When we were in California, Mom made us the most wonderful appple crisp! So wonderful that Michael asked for the recipe. Well, he made it tonight and put it into a pie crust - YUMMY! Thanks for the recipe mom!
Thursday, October 29: My fave shoes lined up in the hallway...
Friday, October 30: I made a new journal to keep track of life in - for lists, receipts, daily happenings, etc. I used a record album from the thrift shop for the cover...
Saturday, October 31: Breakfast at Triple Rock with my friend Becky. Triple Rock has the best vegan breakfasts around! Becky gave me this super cool candle and holder! It says "Peace Be With You." Perfect for lighting when I journal...
Sunday, November 1: I reorganized my buttons and baubles. I love just looking at them!
Oh, and I want to answer Lauren's question from this post. She wanted to know how I did the butterfly on the Phenomenal Woman layout. The butterfly is a silver rubon from Jenni Bowlin, which I painted with watercolor crayons to create the colors of his wings. Then I outlined the whole thing with a black journaling pen. I hope that helps!
Now I'm off to cleanup my mess in the scraproom. I will be back tomorrow with another update - thanks so much for stopping by!
