I especially love the lady who is going to be watching Carly and so does Tina. She is a DOLL and came HIGHLY recommended.
Tina had to go out of town at the last minute. She flew out this morning at 6:45am which meant she had to wake up at 3:30am! POOR THING! She looked SOOO great though. She had the CUTEST outfit on ...nice new Anne Taylor gray slacks and a beautiful Banana Rep cranberry sweater with a cranberry necklace and shoes!!!
She gave me her hair appointment that she had scheduled today, which I was stoked about, because I was a little self conscience about my baldness:) My mom came to the salon to watch Carly and I won't even go into that...We were not discreet. Okay, here's just a taste of what happened as soon as I left my mom in charge: Carly got hungry..my mom had to pee..Carly was crying..it was a scene, all within 30min. Poor everyone at the salon.
Fortunately, I was able to breast feed Carly in a spare room and calm her down while my hair processed. My mom's telling me her experience trying to pee holding Carly with one arm, throws up her hands talking and knocks over this level that clanked very very loudly on the ground which scared Carly and sent her into another sob session. Carly needed a nap, so after I fed her I put her in the car and my mom drove her around until she fell asleep while I got my hair cut.
Tina's stylist first of all...is awesome. She is HIP! She's cool enough to be really good friends with... She is a single mom with the CUTEST two year old. ANYWAY!!! She told me the reason I look extra bald is because my red color didn't cover my roots completely. She said my niece needed to put a brown color with the red color because the red wouldn't cover my roots alone. She also blended the shape of my hair, so its not such a dramatic A-LINE. I feel so MUCH better. I'm ready for my job!
Tina's not as happy with her hair cut that the lady at the last minute did. She feels its too short. Her hair looked great today when she was all fixed up in her cute outfit. Here's a video from last night. We had dinner at our favorite sushi place. She was beat.
This job is requiring her 120% right now. She's feeling very proud and excited about the opportunity. YEAH! We both have jobs! This summer was awesome. I loved every minute of it. Even though I was so weepy after giving birth for 3 full months. I'm SO glad I'm myself again. Well, almost. :)
Hey!~ I was looking for a movie on Ne.tflix and the movie my song's in called, Carolina is on there! I'm famous on Net.flix! My song that I'm singing, that I cowrote, is the very first song of the movie! It plays all the way through to the bridge :) The song's called, "Get Over It". :) They even have my name in the credits at the end of the movie! The movie went straight to dvd, never came out in the movies, but Julia St.iles and Shirley Mac.laine star in it. So, if you get netfli.x you can watch it instantly on your computer and hear my song that I recorded ten years ago! I can't believe its already been TEN YEARS!
