I have a question. This too came up in our appointment. I was telling the kind doctor about time out and she said, "well Sydney is probably getting too old for time out"
I hadn't thought about it. EVER. I just figured I'd be giving her time outs until she was getting time outed for a week and we'd change the phrasing to grounding.
When is a child too old to give time outs to in your opinion ?
Ok. SOOOOOO ! My loving and adoring WIFEY has planned a bit of a getaway this weekend. She's been planning it for a few weeks now.
I have NO idea what she's doing. Well I have all sorts of ideas as to what she's planning but I don't REALLY know.
We have several babysitters lined up to take the kids and apparently I'm going to be gone from Friday - Sunday.
This isn't going to be like New York AT ALL. Where I missed the kids and think about them the whole time. Oh no it's not. I'm going to be TOTALLY relaxed and thoroughly enjoy every SECOND without them.
I hope.
CAN YOU EVEN STAND IT ?! I mean. AREN'T YOU DYING TO KNOW WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND ?!
