We were able to attend the Equality Utah fundraising dinner. No kids allowed. (well except for the SWEETEST 10 day old baby that was at our table....mmmm yummy)
There was socializing. there was dinner. there were moving speakers. there was wine.
Lets put our mad math skillz to work for a minute here.
5.00 for a glass of wine. 25.00 for a bottle. a bottle will give you 6 glasses of wine. 13 if all you do is top off the one you keep sipping on.
So, if x= each glass and y=bottles and you subtract the fact that you either look kinda trashy carrying around a bottle of wine ooooor look completely and totally OBVIOUS that you are two terribly couped up moms who got a night out and HEY LOOK ! THEY SELL IT BY THE BOTTLE AND IT'S WAY CHEAPER THAN BUYING IT BY THE GLASS AND YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WE WILL DRINK MORE THAN 2 GLASSES EACH BECAUSE WE DON'T REALLY KNOW A LOT OF THESE PEOPLE AND HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW TO HOB-NOB SINCE THE FIRST SET CAME ALONG. then the answer is drink a bottle and only pay 20.00.
Look, I don't know how it happened, but it did and I've never been too good at math any ways.
We had a great time.
Did I tell you that there was complimentary wine at the dinner tables.
