Last week - Open House for first grade class. Mikaela met her first grade teacher. She was so thrilled to have her. I had interpreter with me so that teacher and I can communicate smoothly. I discovered that she can signs. She used to teach hard of hearing and deaf kids in the past. (that is plus!). Kyron doesn't like the idea letting Mikaela go to school. Kyron kept saying, I'm going with Mikaela to school everyday. (break my heart)

Today is the first day of school for Mikaela!
First Grade
Kyron was so thrilled to have his sister, Mikaela back home! He kept asking me - now time to go and pick Mikaela (every hour).
Mikaela had a great time! She said the worst part of the day is that she has to listen the rules about recess and not be able to play. She is looking forward to go out and play during recess tomorrow. The best part of the day is that she has her own desk!
