I had another session yesterday and after the session was over my therapist asked when I wanted to see her again. I thought she would tell me that I needed to come back next week, but instead she was asking me when I wanted to come back or IF I wanted to come back. So I suggested coming back in two weeks. I have been doing really well with establishing boundaries and I really believe that I am EXTRA emotional because of breast feeding. I could have some postpartum going on, but its not extreme. I don't have any feeling like I want to throw my baby, I'm just teary. For instance, a commercial will come on or a song and it makes me cry. Its strange. Not to mention, I'm the third sex now MOTHER and the only thing I can conceive that my body is used for is a milking machine. No other purpose. (Sorry Tina.) I figure these hormones will go away and I'll be back to normal once I stop breastfeeding, but I don't want to stop breast feeding until Carly is 6 months to 1 year old. My main goal was 6 months, but if we're on a roll we should keep up the good work. The health benefits and the pros of breast feeding can't be ignored. Anyway, I know the importance of exercise...it really helps the serotonin levels. Lately, I've been feeling extra lazy and exercise has been last on the list-when I know if I just did it...it would make me feel better. I went jogging a week ago..and I didn't have it in me to jog..so I walked the whole way. My dog didn't care. He was SO happy to go outside.
So, I hope I get it together soon. I do better when I have plans to be somewhere..then I manage to motivate. Getting back to work will probably be just what the doctor ordered. I have only 4 more weeks until summer is over. We still aren't sure what we're going to do with Carly, whether we'll have a nanny come in or if we'll take her to a nanny's home. I heard of a great woman across the street from my school. That could be nice. Then I could go visit her during break! We want what's best for Carly. Soon we'll know if we get to stay in our house. It will be SO good to feel settled. We still have half our stuff in boxes, because we just couldn't bare unpacking to repack AGAIN! I think we're going to get to stay though. I HOPE TO GOD! We were pre-qualified to get a modified loan at 2% interest for five years, then it goes up a percent every year, but maxes out at 5%. Currently our loan was at 7%. That would be great! Then, when the values come back we could re-fi or sell. So, we'll see. If we get to keep our home it will be a very big THANK YOU to OBAMA!
By the WAY! Carly is talking in full mumbles now! SOOOO CUTE! She's SO expressive. She sounds like she's trying to form words. She uses her mouth in all different ways and makes all types of sounds. SO CUTTTTE! Everytime we try to film her she gets camera shy.
