From Courtney's Closet Challenge...

Well, it's that time again....Libby over at Libby's Little Addiction has posted a picture of her ever-so-adorable-darlin'-baby doll-of-a-girl, Courtney, (that's my new name for Courtney!) in some irresistible outfit to challenge all of our creativity.

This week made me smile when I saw the ever-so-adorable-darlin'-baby doll-of-a-girl, Courtney's picture!! Ya know, wasn't it just a few weeks ago that the ever-so-adorable-darlin'-baby doll-of-a-girl, Courtney was dressed as a Princess. Flowing in pink toile and satin, lookin' out the window for her knight in shining armour to rescue his damsel in distress.

And then

...........BAM.........

doesn't reality strike you down in the midst of a fairy tale.........hits you in the face like a dirty frying pan........
This week, the ever-so-adorable-darlin'-baby doll-of-a-girl, Courtney........

is doing dishes!!!

On to my card. I saw a tutorial over at iStamp on making a quilt card. Very cute idea, I thought! Very simple looking card but I like how it turned out.

I added some liquid applique to the star, which I had water colored. In the midst of applying the liquid applique, the blue started kinda bleeding and a tint of green came out in spots. Although, a complete mistake...I kinda like it!
