Nasty Cold!

I've had a nasty cold since Sunday. Its scary taking any type of medicine when your pregnant, because you know that you're drugging your baby, but its also scary violently sneezing when you have a tear in your placenta. I think I'm getting better which is good, because I don't think pregnant women are allowed to take antibiotics. Poor Tina is catching it. I accidentally used her tooth brush the other day right before it sunk in that I was sick. I was clearly delirious. I totally thought I was brushing with my own toothbrush. Tina and I don't ever share toothbrushes. Poor THING! Now, two days later..she feels a cold lingering.
Tina and I have had a lot on our plate lately with many big decisions. My mom always gets involved and tries to be the problem solver for us and my mom is like a dog on a bone, if we don't "mind" her and do what she thinks is the solution, she takes it personal. I have always struggled with my mom about the boundries she crosses. Its one thing to make a suggestion to help guide someone you love, but its another thing to beat the dead dog and get totally emotionally attached to the outcome of a problem that's not even your own. She thinks she's entitled as a mother to behave the way she does. I know my mom missed out on having a mother and would have done anything to have a mother's love, but in the meantime she doesn't see the lines she crosses. I hope I don't make this same mistake with Carly.
