I DID IT ! I DID IT ! I DID IT !

CAN YOU HEAR ME !!! I DID IT ! ALL BY MYSELF !
I took all 3, ALL THREE !!! of my children to the grocery store and GROCERY SHOPPED ! (loud gasp from the sound recorded audience)
Alright look. I know that to some of you, you may sit and read this with the smallest amount of recognition and concern for the well beings of those involved.
But I am here to tell you this. That trip...THAT TRIP, has been the longest hurdle jumped since having the twins. My grocery shopping trips have been done in the dark. No. really. in the dark. I would get everybody to bed and then run to the store.
This feat has made my chest expand (not my breasts, just the chest cavity itself) my ego rise, and my head has grown larger than an official sized NBA basketball.

I got one of those car carts. I put Syd and Spence in the front, Cam stayed back in the cart seat with me. At about 1/2 way through....Spence was on his way out so I switched and put Cam in the car....which held for about 2 seconds. So I stuck both boys in the front of the cart. They've made the leg holes larger to accommodate larger children apparently and both legs fit through one hole.
This however worked through shopping, but proved to be a mistake when while at the check stand Cam slipped down through the hole, I swung my purse from my shoulder around to catch him (which I did....I'm an expert folks...don't try this at home) my purse slammed in to the items in which they place RIGHT by the check stand to MAKE those of us impulsive buyers grab that last minute item....knocking several toothbrushes and chap sticks sending them flying to the floor.
There were 3 people in line behind me all of whom acted put out at this point. The cashier was ready for me to pay and I was busy picking up the items on the floor while balancing Cam on my hip. I set Cam in the back of the cart, adjusted Spencer to sit with one leg in each hole, and Syd was swinging like a monkey from the pole behind the cashier.
I had to collect the balloons that I let the kids play with to keep them busy while I was loading the groceries on the belt. I couldn't find the stick to one of the balloons and was not forking out $4.50 for a Happy Anniversary balloon. I was able to locate it. Paid. Held Cam on my hip so the groceries fit in the basket, Syd climbed in front of me hanging again like something from the zoo on the front of the cart and we headed without incident to the Van.
Both boys fell asleep on the way home and Syd is out playing in the sprinkler.

Lionel Richie is playing on my CD player and I'm off to clean my house, as it looks like my Russian girlfriend blew herself up in here.

The start of a VERY good weekend. (deep breath in....and out)
