Rhyme Time

Your sentiment must rhyme

Okay, I used my Schlosser Designs, Have a Tweet Day, stamp set:

I stamped the 2 part bird onto cardstock to make a template which I then traced onto Amy Butler paper. I was super proud of myself that I made the sentiment rhyme...now what? I had no idea how to incorporate cheep tweet into the overall design of my card...LOL. I should have just hand wrote 'sweet' in front of tweet but don't like my handwriting enough to do that...

So I decided to fuss with the interior of my card...get it, cheep tweet..the coffee/tea is on me...that makes it cheep...or cheap:) LOL...I decided to enter this into the MFW Start to Finish Challenge!

Can't wait to see what you all come up with!!!

you're my cup of tea...espressing my thanks...and a RAK

So are you ready? I have a couple things to show you...

I finally played with the fabulous gals over at EBTKS!

You know me and my love for challenges:)

This is a small giftie...it is 3.5 x 3.5....the patterned paper is American Crafts...including that sweet owlie! Last week when I was out and about with Elaine, I discovered the AC pack of papers at M's for 40% off...{insert girl ninja pic here..LOL}. The striped satin ribbon is a vintage m's $ bin deal...

This already went postal to a gal...hope she thinks it is fun...hey happy mail is way better than bills!

Next up is CPS...I happened to put together my CPS143 project by accident...LOL. My dd's end of the season soccer party was Sunday afternoon.

I wanted to put together a Starbucks gift card holder for one of the soccer moms. She gave my boy a ride home one evening..I tell you..this gal IS super woman...super mom...super teacher...super everything. Anywho's...I wanted to put together something 'snappy' for her and happened to catch sight of the print out I made of all the challenges I wanted to participate in this week....BINGO!

You gotta love the There She Goes coffee set...Jessica, the owner is a fellow Washingtonian...woot woot!

Originally I was going to use another Eskimo Kisses panel for the circle but it just didn't 'look' right...so I used my SU Snowflake punch...you know, the one that I just 'had to have' and haven't used it much. I glitzed it up with Martha glue and silver glitter...topped it off with a PTI vintage button and SU twine.

Here's the interior...that small strip of BG is a scrap...it holds the flap down:) You'll no doubt be seeing a ton of these...I have yet another Gift Show in a couple weeks...guess what I'll be doing my Thanksgiving weekend inbetween ninja shopping? Yup, making projects for the show.

I wanted to share another RAK that I received last week...I tell you it was Happy Mail week!!!!

She also sent me a bunch of goodies too! OMGoodness!!!

I know I've mentioned it before, I have a horrible memory...I was trying to remember how Steph and I met...I think she found me or did I find her? Anyways, I'm such a lucky duck...I was taking pics of the goodies but the packaging was glaring all over the place..yipes..but let's just say the girl knows me and you'll be seeing some new goods on some projects soon...thanks again Steph!!!!!!!

coffee anyone?

Look at these ultra CUTE coffee cups! It is the Let's Get Together set from There She Goes. Jessica Knutsen is fabulous...and she is a Washington girl! The polka dot base is A Muse, the kraft is Speckletone, the pattern on the coffee cup is A Muse Madeira and the ribbon is Stampin' Up. A girl can never have too many coffee sets!!!

Happy Birthday Robotics

Does this look familiar? I used the same paper and sketch,Rae's Bonus sketch, as Friday's "xo" card...it worked out perfectly because I'm making a birthday card for my co-worker's son. This is the same gal that I made this What's Cookin'? card for...this time the son is a video game player. It was my perfect opportunity to use my There She Goes "Crafty Taglines" clear set that I recently won. Jessica is a fellow Washingtonian so I received my 3, yes you read it right, 3 FREE sets speedy quick! I'm crossing my fingers that when my co-worker says video game player that she means computer gamer...not a wii player but it's all good, right? The super tiny "birthday wish" on the computer monitor is a Basic Grey rub-on. All that Sassafras'alicious Robotics paper is nestled on Stampin' Up Basic Grey...the dots on the scallop circle are ala my Twinklette pen, just a sweet amount of glitter {don't want to glitterized the poor boy's birthday card}. I counter balanced the glitter with the Thickers felt circles...felt rocks.
I've been meaning to share my new personalized stamp that I bought in December. I hit a FABulous sale on expressionery.com. It was funny, my boy said: "Where's the crown?". I told him that I was thinking of moving away from that and he said: "But it is sooo you Mom!". Isn't that funny?
