think spring...

Happy Thursday & Happy April!

The week is just zooming by....I can't believe that it is almost the weekend...usually I'm thrilled about the weekend but it's another spring cleaning weekend for me. Thanks to all of you that helped "lighten my crafty load" over the last week. People thought that I was a SU Demo...nope, just a really good customer:)

Okay, enough of my dislike of cleaning and onto some craftiness...

I wanted to share some Cutting Cafe goodness!

I played with the Beautiful Trees set...isn't it fabbie??!!!

I also combined everything with the Moxie Fab World, Picking up the Pieces Challenge.

Oh how I ♥love♥ this MME line...come on peeps...owls and polka dots??!!!

My retail fix for these Kaiser Crafts pearls and blings seem to be stepping away from carrying them...wwwaaahhh....I did pick some Kaiser Crafts strips locally but need a good source for the pearls and blings {non-circle}...any feedback ladies??

ruffles...

When I first saw the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch, I thought of ruffles...

So I put together a bunch of different GCD Studios papers that are brown and blue... and topped it off with that ginormous bloom...definitely a hand delivered greeting card:)

Have you noticed that all the pics for this week are outdoor ones...that's what happens when I multi-task over the weekend and have the time to photog outdoors...

I was pretty happy to see that I have exceeded 100,000 hits on my blog...pretty coolio...I'll be slinging out some blog candy as a thank you for all of you that take the time to come visit 'lil 'ole me...maybe Sunday or Monday which I'll team up with a Woot Woot Announcement:)

Love Life...

I'm enjoying Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch...

I loaded up on the clear and frosted Shortcut bases...it's about time I played with them even though they are an absolute pill to photog:) This is one of the frosted blanks...

This is going postal today so I don't want to ruin the surprise but it is going to someone that is going through a rough patch...or at least their friend is...a really rough patch and I just wanted her to know that I was thinking of her. It is chock full of Cosmo Cricket...the PTI ribbon is covering up the A Muse sentiment a smidge but it says: "Greetings from Seattle". Dontcha think the coffee mug is appropriate for that sentiment?

Next up is Laura's sketch 43...which I love and can see using over and over again...

I used some retired MME papers, specifically the Confetti line. I was drawn to the bold & bright colors and patterns.
Three out of the four panels have been stitched...I love the contrast of the white thread...brings out the Stampin' Up rub on "thinking of you" and helps make the Jenni Bowlin butterfly *pop*.

Let me give you some background on this particular card. I was asked by someone to make a card... It's a sad story, it is for someone that thought he had beat his cancer but he hasn't...Do you know how hard it was for me to figure out what to make? It was VERY hard...feedback ladies...feedback... I know that masculine cards typically are tough for any paper crafter but given the added situation...oy vey.

♥♥Edited to add that the lovely Sandra let me know that my 'thinking of you" card is on the SCS Facebook page:) awwwww...that made my day!♥♥

Ultimately, I hope that when the recipient opens the envy, it'll make him smile...what do you think?
