Okay, evidently I wasn't really thinking when I made my project...

You know how you are sometimes determined to use something on a project?  Well, that's how I was...I 'needed' to use my new Wintertime goodies from Echo Park...I had to use this journaling card...is that considered a diecut?  Hmmm....gonna say that it is definitely a diecut.

Thought I'd share some lunchtime pictures that I took on my power walk:

I'm certain that I've posted a version of this pic earlier but this is the very first Starbucks which is located within the Pike Place Market.

I have been having LOADS of FUN with the new E.A.D Designs rub-ons...Today I thought I'd highlight the Wonderland Set!

Isn't it absolutely fantabulous in HOT PINK?!!!!!!

Can you see all the glorious zig zagging on those 2 polka dot strips of paper?  I wanted to carry over the zig zag theme from the base panel...all the pattered paper is Sassafras Count me in! I'm patting myself on the back for using my nesties more...I have them, I need to use them...I dug out the 'ole Dymo and finished off the card with a sassy 'in a stitch' bloom.

Today is my day over at 365 Cards!

Pam's Challenge:

Keep it Simple

blank cardstock

one stamped image

add one embellishment that interacts with the image

Do not color in the image.

For example, if the image were a bouquet of flowers, add a single blossom embellishment to the bunch.

You can add any sentiment you wish.

This was a great opportunity to stamp my A Muse Kokeshi Doll. I've had her for awhile but never inked her up! I used a tiny Kaiser Crafts bling to put in her hair:)

This post is full of 2 sketches 4 you....This is for Kazan's sketch 25. The white star is ala Making Memories...it is made of wood...it's suppose to be wall decor. I picked it up at Target awhile back for about $2.50 and I'm finally de-hoarding it. The star designer paper along with the acetate arrow are part of the MME kit I picked up on Peachy Cheap...Can you tell that I glitzed up the sentiment edges with glitter?

This 2nd sketch is by the ultra-talented Savitri...I can't remember how I stumbled upon her most magnificent blog but I'm so glad that I did. She is a fab bloggy friend of mine...that girl continuously cracks me up and also amazes me with all of her talent.

Does the paper look familiar...yup, from the same set as the card I made using Kazan's sketch.

Here are the deets on this particular card...I was asked by my work to make a card for a former co-worker of ours. He recently found out that his cancer was in remission...now how is that for gr8 news!!!! You don't think it looks too girlie with the ribbon, do you? I was going to use white twill instead of the fun orange grosgrain but the white clashed with the vinyl thickers which are more of a "winter white". This card is girnormous...it is a full 8.5 x 11 folded in half. I needed to make it that large to accommodate all the peeps that would be signing it.

Do these sketches look familiar? Yup, they were for the 2s4y Summer DT call. I didn't get the magical email from them so it's safe to post my cards :) I had a ton of fun creating these cards...I tried to think outside the box and think that I really did with Laura's sketch. I used the most fabulous Hambly Screen Prints paper...along with Hambly rub-on's and the good 'ole fashioned Dymo.

I tell you, I did struggle with Kazan's sketch...but like how it turned out...I love teaming chocolate with anything and everything. I used Stampin' Up Designer paper in Groovy Guava. The Journal card is ala the MME kit that I used for the first 2 sketches on this post..I totally splurged and used my chocolate chip satin ribbon...why-oh-why didn't I stock up on that stuff??!!! Anywho's I used my Heidi Swapp distressor on each of the layers to soften the lines...

Whew, thanks for taking the time to look through my entire post..I don't think that I've ever shared 4 cards in one day before :)

I'm going to be out and about today and the weekend...but will be sharing cards...
