Sultry 90

Happy Monday!!!

This is based on the Card Patterns Sketch #8. Did you see my Blog Candy Post? This is my 1 of 2 cards I'm sending Amy to support her card drive. I think it is a fabulous way to surprise the 90 & 100-year-old Birthday Girls!

I wanted to create a texture filled card so I used my fabulous felt thickers and Making Memories trim....nice and colorful to help celebrate a fabulous 90-year-old birthday!!

Celebrate!

We had a lovely celebration last night...{belated} Congrats to JW for graduating from Seattle University's School of Law!!! We pooled our funds to buy JW a spa certificate...what girl wouldn't need a spa appointment after going to law school full time and working full time???

What is better than being surrounded by great friends and delish comfort food?

Cameo Cupcake

This is my second birthday invite design for my DD. Here is the first one. Ordinarily I would not team up Cameo Coral and Green Galore but it started with my "cheater" card base from my original design ala Target $1 spot. It is quite the eye catching combo isn't it? Rylee has picked this card for her invites....

Princess Birthday Crown

This is the second design for my Princess Party invites. There is a 3.5 inch square card adhered to the back of the crown. It is plenty of room to write a birthday greeting to her majesty. I will revamp this crown for my daughter Rylee's upcoming birthday. I think that you'll be seeing more of these but much more glittery and sparkly. I love crowns and over the next couple days I'll share some great deals on things that I have tapped into. For now, here are the deets for the Birthday Crown:

A Magical Lizzie Card...

I was asked to design invites for a "Princess Party". This is a treat for me since Princess Parties are long gone in my household. The A Muse Lizzie image was one that I recently adopted via the buy/sell/trade board on Splitcoaststampers. I used the aquapainter on her dress so that it matches the Wasabi cardstock. I glitzed her dress up with my Quickie Glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds. Her crown, wand and shoes were colored in with Sakura glitter pens....what is a princess without glitter?! The "a MAGICAL day" oval has been edged with a Sakura stardust pen.
