You all know how much I adore colors, patterns and stitching...this card has a little bit of everything!  Yuppers...that would be another Hero Arts 2011 release...Friendly Flags!  I'm  entering this into the Hero Arts Thank You Challenge...

An altered CD tin...I picked up a bunch of these from Stampin' Up...all the paper is compliments of the fabbie Julie!!!  Thanks sooo much girlie!!!!  So much Nikki Sivils goodness...if I remember correctly, the polka dotted paper is called......JULIE!

I made 4 different card tags....all the sentiments are SRM....Darin's girl is in college {such a smart whipper snapper!} so I put together some cards that she can give to her new college friends:)

Christmas Eve...can you believe it?!

Earlier this week I had coffee with a friend of mine...we graduated from high school together...oy...many, many years ago...like over 26 years...sigh..makes me sound old:)

What could be a better giftie than candy...Trader Joe's Candy....I altered this can of peppermint sticks to give my friend:

It's chock full of goodness...October Afternoon paper, Stampin' Up feltie snowflake, American Crafts Flair, Basic Grey tag, Cosmo Cricket tiny type and bakers twine from the Twinery!

Well, I'll be back on Sunday...taking the day off the blog tomorrow...spending some quality time with the family:)  Happy Holidays everyone!!!

tons 'o stuff...

Oh boy...it's Saturday...the man and I will be busy racing around all weekend...

I have a bunch of goodies I managed to crank out:

Here's a halloween tag and matching treat pail:)  I made this for Darin's daughter...we'll be seeing her at college this weekend..can't go empty handed...

All the paper is Echo Park...the ribbon is from a grab bag of ribbons ala Maya Road...

Next up is a Cosmo Cricket'licious Mitten Weather card...

You seriously can't go wrong with red and pale blue...I think it will become a true classic combo....I've been hoarding those pale blue Heidi Swapp Crystals...glad I did so that I could use them on this card:)  The striped grosgrain is from Stampin' Up.

Next up is this one...

The patterned paper is hambly...the stamped image is Memory Box...the blue of the chair is actually the backside of the patterned paper...the vinyl rub on is Sentiments by E.A.D Designs..everything is nestled onto a Fabriano card...I wanted the base to be kind fancy smancy to really show off the gorgeous hambly paper...

I was wow'ed by the latest Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger, Languish in Luxurious:

Absolutely gorgeous...wowza...Cath knows how to pick them!

All the images are by E.A.D Designs...I used the Fly away with me Stickerz and teamed it up with Cosmo Cricket's Togetherness...the hinged tins are so versatile!

Joyful Things...

Love that saying...tons of stitching on the cover panel...

This is an interior shot....on the left side of the tin I covered the inside of the lid with another panel of CC Togetherness....inside are 4 scrapling style cards...they just don't have a fold...

I love the whole hot air balloon trend...the Stickerz made them so easy to paper piece...

You knew that there had to be a banner somewhere:)

Although, it isn't pictured, I supplied 4 glassine pouches for the faux scraplings. The hb2u is Lawn Fawn's harold's ABC's...the beauty of the gift is she has 4 different cards and a 'treasure box'....

Great little giftie and something that I had a BALL making...

Today is a fun post....Paper Maniac is celebrating their first birthday and E.A.D Designs is joining in on the fun!!!!

I have been on quite the altered tin kick these days...today's project started with a hinged tin...the window made it perfect to showcase the E.A.D Designs "Right on Target" Stickerz that Paper Maniac proudly carries in their store!

grrr...love the tins but they are a pill to photog...

I cut a white panel to make the lid design really pop...when you open up the tin....
MAGNETS!!!

I picked up the wooden circles from impress and just paper punched various patterned paper from my Sassafras Sunshine Lollipop Wee Bundle...the bird in the upper left hand corner and the mushrooms are from the E.A.D Designs "Right on Target" Stickerz sheet...I first adhered the stickerz to white card stock and then fussy cut them out...they are put onto the wooden circles with large glue dots to give them some umph:)

I was inspired by a project that I saw when I was in Impress a couple weeks ago...it was an altered tin.

I'm chuckling because the round tin that I used was in my garage sale and well, I retrieved them back..haha...that's how I am...

One of my favorite Stickerz sets is Fly away with me...how can anyone resist? I used my new Cosmo Cricket Together papers...sooo fun! Paper piecing is soooo easy smeasy with Stickerz!

Okay, check out the interior....

I bought the wooden circles from Impress and paper punched some various Cosmo Cricket Togetherness patterns and then loaded some of them up with EAD Fluttering Blooms Stickerz. Each wooden circle is backed with a magnet and ♥BAM♥ cute birthday giftie!!!

Happy Monday!!!!

I have a couple projects to share with you today...I've been into making "scenery projects"....and decided to alter a DVD tin:

Pssst....Bo Bunny has me diggin' on purple these days....their Sun Kissed line is absolutely a-stinkin-a-dorable! The SRM {hello} is simply perfect for this project!

This is the interior of the tin....I love note pads...have them all over the place since my memory is horrendous...I have to admit that I tend to write notes on my hand too..LOL The Green area is actually a pocket to put in receipts etc:)

Next up is a layout of my girl...the picture is actually from last year...ever since the kidlets were born, they get their pics professionally taken every year...

The girl is really into purple these days so the Bo Bunny Peacock Lane is perfect for her...I fussy cut the tree image and smacked it on top of the purple patterned paper, I love the contrast. The polka dot strip has been stitched down to the blue panel. I teamed it up with some Thickers Vinyl and do you see the purple pearls...perfect match ala Queen & Co...I bought a gazillion of them in all different colors at Scrap Expo!

Turning a Tin into a cute little Gifty!!

Hi Again!! Today I wanted to show you how to easily turn a tin into something a little bit more! =:O)

You'll Need:
a Tin, Sticky Tape, Glitter, Scrapbook paper, a small embellishment and Ribbon!

First: Run your Sticky Tape along the top rim of the tin:

Then pour your glitter all over the Sticky Tape and brush off any extra!

Measure the space on the bottom half of the tin and cut a scrapbook strip of paper to fit all the way around. Using your Sticky tape again, adhere to the tin.

Now fill with something....I used M&Ms...but you could put anything in there...Jewelry, hair clips, a love note! Then tie a ribbon around it and put your small embellishment on top...Viola....a cute little dressed up tin...Perfect for gift giving!

happy st. patty's day to you!

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

Ahhhh...love St. Patty's Day because I adore the color green...it is a major color in my wardrobe:)

I played along in the Unscripted Sketches #46:

Here's a little giftie duo for the man...

All the happy paper is Jillibean...the Lucky You/Happy St. Patrick's Day images are TomKat Studio freebies that I found on How about Orange.

I tweeked the sketch a smidge and used the same size Jillibean panels. The rub on is ala Stampin' Up.

I don't know if you can tell but the Happy St. Patrick's Day circle is mounted on a black scalloped circle....love the black ric rac..it is ala Martha and is extra crunchy...100% nylon. The tin is filled with local Dilettante chocolate truffles. Nothings says St. Patty's Day like chocolate:)
