It's Wednesday which typically means my Jingle Belles day:)

The gals have teamed up with Sketchy Thursday's and their super sketch for the week:

I had a ton of fun with this sketch and quite frankly the fabbie Stef inspired me with her great card! 

I've had that sweet Memory Box snow globe on my work top forever that I had forgotten about it:)  I embossed it with American Crafts Black Zing and then re-stamped the image on the BG paper..cut out the globe part and adhered it to the embossed piece...easy smeasy!   Actually all the patterned paper is Basic Grey's Eskimo Kisses...the felt snowflake is Stampin' Up and I blinged it up with a Queen & Co rhinestone. The sentiment is by A Muse.

I had a really fun weekend with the man...we spent a couple days here:

Sorry for the not-so-great pic...I 'may' have been standing on my seat in the double decker/top deck bus that we were in.....it was my first time in Vegas and boy, is there a ton to take in...

....we ate a ton...took in a couple shows and had such a fantastic time!

somewhere over the rainbow...

Somewhere over the rainbow there is something DeLovely....

...inked up a new PTI set:)

I was inspired by Card Patterns #68:

Here's a little tidbit about me...I'm consistent = boring. Once I find something I like...I can like it everyday for a long, long time...LOL. Take for instance Trader Joe's Roasted Beet and Chicken Salad. I love the stuff...I can eat it everyday...and it is only $3.99. Hmmm...$3.99 x 5 = a whole lotta crafty supplies...

So what I do is buy a lot of the same ingredients and store them at work...I have salads everyday for lunch:) I've found that peeps either love beets...or hate beets. I personally didn't discover them until this year and let's be honest, anything would taste good with a delish balsamic vinaigrette and some feta cheese:)

It wasn't going to be long before I scrapped something food oriented...it's an asian thing to take pics of food...just ask my oldest brother...he's always taking pictures of food...

This is when I should insert that I like my Black Eyed Peas! For those that might not know, my layout title is a play on words based on the BEP song lyrics from, Boom Boom Pow. Yup, that's me crackin' myself up {again}...

All the patterned paper is Sassafras.

fabulous forty's...

Happy Tuesday!

That means Jacksonbelle day. For all of June, the Design Team gets to play with their favorite Jacksonbelle products. Remember that the entire store is currently 40% off and there is still bunches of fabbie goodies!!!

I'm enjoying scrapbooking...still gravitating towards CAS but hope to sling out a heavily embellished layout soon:)

Hmmm....don't know if you can tell by the photo but the paper I used is Pink Paislee and it's ledger paper....it is actually from their North Pole line...it has stains and water marks already but I did manage to smack another one on there:) The transparency and the feltie flower {which is wonderfully thick} is from Andrea...I won a blog candy from her and it is chock full of goodness.

Aha...I did my journaling and popped it on the BACK:) In a nutshell, I've been thoroughly enjoying my 40's. I have learned so much so far...about me...about single parenting...about life. I would have never guessed that my life would have turned out that way that it has but let me tell you something...I truly believe that things happen for a reason. I love my life and work hard on making the best out of everything. My #1 priority = the kids...I love them more then they will ever know....Darin is the man that I've been searching for...he's kind, empathetic, thoughtful, respectful....I'm truly grateful for him. Okay, okay, okay....sorry to get all mushie on you all...big cyber hugs for everyone...bahaha...I'm always crackin' myself up...just ask the kids:)

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!!!!
I used color palette #5 at The Color Room and a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays for this layout - background paper is Stampington and the smaller pieces are Anna Griffin, Making Memories, and Dear Lizzy. I used some Pink Paislee clear stickers, some Gecko Galz vintage buttons,and  a Webster's pages silhouette. I made the flower from a vintage doily and some gold-edged lace. The ribbons are chiffon and the little sprig of flowers is vintage.
