Do you sew?   I really enjoyed sewing once upon a time, even have a box load of fabric.  I'll have to whip something up and show off my hidden talent!  haha

I created this focal point by using my 'intact' stamp set as a stamp.  Used my cuttlebug plate for my clear mounting block.  how fun is that?!

We have a new Belli Challenge for you today!  For the next two weeks, our theme is Seamstress!  You can use stitching, buttons etc on your card or make it a sewing themed card like I did!  Interpret however you like!  Check out the variety of inspiration from the rest of the DT and put your name in the hat to be the next Belle of the Belli!

We've been busy with homeschooling paperwork these past few weeks.  I've kept up better this year, but Pennsylvania is one of the stricter states regarding homeschool laws; paperwork, record-keeping, portfolios, evaluations!  ugh!  Oh well, school will wrap up for us by the end of April.  Then we'll have a chance to relax a little!

Creative Belli - "C" embellishments!

I've had some chipboard birdies for many moons now, this was just the challenge to start using them!  I used a circle and cardstock cloud to pile on the "C's"!    It will be fun to see what everyone uses for this challenge!

Creative Belli - Animals

Happy Wednesday!!!

Here comes Peter Cottontail!   Well, maybe not quite yet, but I know spring is right around the corner!  I'm not much of a springtime gal...pastel colors are not my thing, says the fair-skin redhead!  lol   I enjoy winter, but if there isn't going to be any snow in the forecast than I'm ready to move on!

Here's a lovely little rabbit gathering up some chicks, so sweet.

I've used a hodge podge of scraps on this one!  The vintage Easter graphic is from The Graphic Fairy site and printed on watercolor paper.

This week at Creative Belli, our challenge is to use animals on your projects.  You may happily create anything as long as there is an animal somewhere on it.  Remember, we encourage you to use up your stash.  I've had some wooden brads from a RAK package forever, this is the first time I used one! yay!

To the Lighthouse

I have a masculine card to show you today!  Though it would certainly work well as a sympathy card too!

Long ago, maybe 2008 or 2009 I won a pile of rubber from Artful Inkables, love their stuff, but somehow it was all pushed to the side and I just recently found it again when I resolved to use my stash this year!

Keeping that in mind, this stamp was a perfect fit for both the Creative Belli challenge which always encourages us to use up our stash  AND our Design DIVA Blog Hop's theme "Oldies but Goodies" using stamps at least 6 months old!  Isn't this a wonderful 'find'?!

This week at the Creative Belli challenge we are using felt or fabric on our creations!  This could be a felt flower, trim or maybe a little pieced dress for your image!  No felt? then use whatever fabric you can find...I tore apart a linen dishtowel a while back and am still using pieces from it on my creations!   I am quite lacking in the felt department so I used some cotton duck fabric which, of course, reminded me of the beach!

Creative Belli - Jewelry

It's been two weeks already and it's time for another fun Creative Belli challenge!  This time our theme is Jewelry...interpret as you please!

I used a vintage clip-on earring I had found at a flea market this past summer!

I have a ton of lace, hardly ever touched.  So in keeping with my resolution to use up my stash, I'll be digging into the 'lace box' a bit more in the coming days!

Isn't she a beauty?  She's one of the newer stamps from Susana's Custom Art & Card Design (SCACD) They introduced a new artist a short time ago, Carmen Medlin, the stamps are all so lovely!  So I had a bit of fun getting inky again!

I searched my stash for Christmas bellies but found nothing!  Since the Belli challenge is all about using what you have, I decided to just go with a Christmasy tag and add the little charm from a flea market charm bracelet I had found this past summer.
