How wonderful when all three of my kids are screaming to have SILENCE.
My house is full of noise and LOVE !!!
Typical Conversation when you have a hearing guest staying at your house :
J : "HONEY ! did you want to pick the baby up...he's been crying at your feet for 10 minutes ?" (smiling behind clenched teeth)
K : "YES DEEEEAAAR, and I WILLLLLL, but I'm BUSY cooking YOUR dinner." (ALSO smiling behind clenched teeth and EVIL eyes)
J : "FINE DEAR, but I already have TWO OTHER KIDS HANGING ON me !"
(did you feel the sarcasm?)
Conversation with a deaf guest.
(turn so deaf guest can't see clenched teeth and evil eyes)
J : "PICK HIM UP ALREADY....GOD, does he have to cry for 25 YEARS before you acknowledge him ?!"
K : "WHAT..and I'm NOT doing ANYTHING right now?"
J : "WHATEVER..."
K : "WHATEVER..."
(turn...roll eyes at deaf guest with award winning smile)
scene two...kinda nice right ? I thought so. The problem is...J and I are so comfortable around Toni..we have no problem doing the latter in front of her face :)

Maybe nobody else feels like this when they have house guests. I personally get exhausted trying to be nice to my kids and wife ALL OF THE TIME. controlling my angry side :) I like to be able to yell and say it how it is to my wife. BUUUUUT maybe that's just me !
Something I learned. Yes Toni you do this. When talking to herself she talks in sign sitting at the table staring off in to space.
OH HELL...she's probably talking to me. ha ha
