Last JB crop layout

Hi there! I have returned from my little trip, re-energized and ready to rock! I did this layout yesterday as the final one for the Jenni Bowlin crop last weekend. The challenge was to scrap a "big" photo.

I had a great trip - lots of good company, good food, a little shopping, and a little museum hopping. AND I got to mark something off my Wish List - I found French macaroons, which I keep seeing on blogs - I bought one of each of the five flavors and savored them - one each day!!!!!  I am seriously thinking of making a batch myself - the vanilla was the absolute best!!!! Yesterday I spent catching up at home and today I volunteered at Art under the Oaks, consistently rated the best art fair in the state of Florida. I live in a small town but it is very arty! I will be taking a 4-day class next month from Janet Rogers, a watercolor painter - she had a booth at the show - WOW! I can hardly wait! Also I have been wanting a ikebana vase and found a stunning white handmade porcelain one that is crystalline glazed - I splurged!  I will take some photos of the vase with hibiscus flowers from my yard.

I have to tell you a funny story about my DH. He stayed home with Hana while I was in Sarasota. I had picked branches of azaleas from our yard before I left and they were in a vase on the dining room table. When I got home on Friday, I looked at them and they were dessicated - the petals were still on them but they were dried out - he had never replenished their water!  Can you imagine sitting there each night eating dinner with these dead flowers (that he had killed no less)?!?! Men!  SO I bought some tulips yesterday for the table!

Hope you are having a great weekend!
