Happy Saturday...

Today is the first day my husband and 4 children have been home together all day in a long time. We always make sure we eat dinner together but with work, school and other activities we only have about 4 hours at the end of the day to spend together....How are we spending this day.....at home doing nothing....It is hot the boys are running around in their underwear, Alex and I are still in our jammies and My Hubby is also just chillin'. It feels so good to not have any plans and just spend the day hanging out together.

So  I have  a few things to share.....

First...The layouts Jocelyn made for me arrived today. Goodness they are so beautiful. The pictures I posted did them no justice. I am loving looking at them. She also shared some sweet words in a card and sent me some flowers and ribbon. Thank you so much this was so much fun....

Second...Here are 2 pictures I took sitting in my back yard....

Jasin, My Hubby has had a crazy couple of weeks at work and decided not to shave....I hated it. So pokey....He did not get many kisses. But hey I have no room to talk cause I have a bunch of grays but do you see the grays coming out in that scruff....LOL....Well today he shaved it off so before he did I took a picture. Can't wait to scrap it.

We purchased a couple more chickens and because there is so much seed in our back yard we have a ton of little birdies coming to have a bite to eat. I love it cause I love the birds. Here is a pic I took of one of them on my back fence. I love how my camera blurred out the leaves in the background.

Third... Have you seen the new line by Jenni Bowlin. It has birds on it. OMG. can you believe it. I love the colors in this line. I received my kit for May and did a layout with Jaxon on the slide that I absolutely loved. It is a few posts back. Well I have had this unfinished wood bird house for a few months. I purchased it for $1.00.

I decided to embellish it using pieces from the kit to enter into the May monthly contest at JBS Inspiration. The little bird in the front is a bird Jenneke sent me in my birthday surprise. I really love how this came out.
